Unfortunately I don't know anything about this bisque/porcelain Japanese Boy. I can't even remember when or where I got him from. I have no idea of his age, I doubt he is 'old'. He has a close fitting undergarment/vest type thing that is sewn on. His fingernails are daintily painted.
I have given him the Japanese Boy's name Haru which means 'Born in the Spring'
Oh isn't he lovely? I love dolls with painted eyes. You're finding some real gems! I hope your MIL is doing better and that you're OK. Hugs! L
